Jakarta Movin stands for Jakarta Movement of Inspiration. It began with a simple goal to share experiences and love for performing arts with as many young people in Jakarta.

 

At the end of 2013, Nuya (21) who at that time aspired to be a director, and Farras (19) who at that time aspired to be an artistic designer, began to call out to fellow creative youth collaborate in creating original musical theatre productions. Through Instagram and Twitter, they received 1011 applicants to become the first generation of Jakarta Movin. All creative and production roles were volunteers from tha cast, musicians, director, script writer, designers, choreography, and all the crew.
